We are Frayed Neon, an independent luxury brand celebrated for our unique and timeless handmade corsets. Our mission is to craft beautiful, high-quality pieces that empower everyone to feel their absolute best. Our meticulously designed, stand-out garments seamlessly pair with your wardrobe staples, ensuring you’ll want to reach for them time and time again. As a slow fashion brand, we prioritise ethical craftsmanship and longevity over mass production and

Meet the sisters

Frayed Neon is brought to life by sister duo Georgia and Kristie. Georgia, the creative force, designs and sews the corsets, while Kristie collaborates on the designs and focuses on brand identity and the overall creative process. Together, we share a vision to create a brand that makes people feel empowered and beautiful in their Frayed Neon garments.

The corsets

The corset has been a fashion staple since the 16th century for good reason. With our pieces designed to cinch the waist and enhance the body’s natural curves, the corsets are flattering on all shapes and sizes. Wile traditional and some modern corsets can be uncomfortable, Frayed Neon corsets are crafted with flexible metal boning that move with the body, and two stretch panels to ensure comfort, reflecting our commitment to wearable elegance.

The design process

We pour our passion into every aspect of the design and sewing process. It begins with meticulously selecting and sourcing the perfect fabric, a defining element of our brand. Each corset is collaboratively designed by Georgia and Kristie to complement the fabric’s pattern, style, and colours. Once the design is finalised. Georgia cuts and sews each corset in-house, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail.

Craftsmanship

Every Frayed Neon corset pattern is created by Georgia to achieve the best fit and style. The fabric is lined with interfacing for added structure and a luxurious touch. Our corsets feature flexible metal boning for support and comfort, adapting to the body’s movements. A new design feature we’re extremely excited about is the stretch panels on either side, enhancing comfort and flexibility. Each corset is completed with grommets, allowing for the signature lace-up design.
